Did you know that for more than 45 years, community health centers have provided a primary health services, comprehensive prevention and high quality patient care regardless of ability to pay? For many Americans, community health centers are the main source of their health care. Everyone, from prevention to treatment. • 11.400 nurses
• 9.500 dentists and oral health professionals
• 6.400 nurse practitioners, physician assistants and certified nurse-midwives
• 4.200 professional mental health care
• And more than 12,000 case managers and staff for health education, outreach and transportation
